Vehicle and product configuration
The source identifies 2019–2024 Mercedes-Benz A-Class 177 vehicles. Two product configurations are described: one for aftermarket ambient lighting and one for factory ambient lighting. Match the tweeter configuration to the vehicle's lighting system before installation.
The illustrated installation uses adapter connectors, but it also shows trimming a locating pin on the factory connector. The source therefore does not establish an entirely unmodified installation or confirm dealership warranty coverage.
Troubleshooting and configuration
-
The version for aftermarket ambient lighting connects to the door's aftermarket ambient-light wiring. The version for factory ambient lighting uses the corresponding factory-lighting connection shown in the illustrations.
-
For the factory ambient-light configuration, the source specifies ambient-light address teach-in after installation using XENTRY. Its menu path is described as Ambient Lighting → Adjustment → User Address Learning. Confirm the vehicle/software-specific procedure; the source does not provide diagnostic settings or a complete teach-in procedure.
-
If the tweeter's ambient light does not illuminate, check that its lighting connector is fully seated and that the wiring is connected correctly. Confirm the product configuration against points 1 and 2.
-
If the tweeter does not rotate, check that the power-adapter cable and rotation-module connectors are fully seated. The source proposes exchanging the two front rotation modules to help locate the fault.
-
For the aftermarket ambient-light version, connect the tweeter's lighting lead to the corresponding door ambient-light wiring. The illustration below compares connector arrangements; it does not provide a complete pin assignment for every aftermarket system.
