This guide follows the archived 3D rotating tweeter tutorial, source code qwvudaN. The Chinese body describes 2016–2023 E-Class 213 vehicles with factory ambient-light synchronization. The product diagram and installation-film title card instead show 2016–2022 W213. Confirm the exact year, market, factory lighting/audio configuration and supplied module before treating either range as approved fitment.

The exact bound film is retained. Its title card and replacement caption identify 3D, while its Chinese progress bar says “Install 4D rotating tweeter.” That inconsistency in the source requires clarification; it does not authorize substituting a 4D article or film.

1. Identify the pictured product

The diagram labels two accessory groups:

  1. A pair of 3D rotating tweeter assemblies.
  2. A pair of rotation drive modules with adapter leads, marked E213 in the photograph.

The source describes 64-color lighting. The current English overlay on one module says “Install high-treble module”; the source label means rotating tweeter module. The photograph does not establish the exact module revision or a complete wiring specification.

2. Use the exact installation film

English installation video

This local film follows the archived installation source for this exact article. Its English subtitles and generated voice script contain wording that still needs correction, including “full-brain,” “D30,” “SAP” and “3B.” The Chinese tools card, original captions and progress bar remain visible. The numbered navigation below restores the source meaning in readable English; it is not a complete electrical approval or a certification of the media.

  1. Tools — around 00:09. The source tools card shows a T30 driver, a plastic trim/pry tool and harness tape. The current English “D30” is incorrect.
  2. Door-panel screws — 00:16–00:25. Use the T30 driver to remove the two screws identified in the source demonstration. The source supplies no torque values.
  3. Release the door panel — 00:25–00:37. Insert the plastic pry tool at the pictured corner, pull the panel outward, then change its angle and push downward as demonstrated to release the retaining clip. Lift the door-lock indicator rod clear. The source calls it the indicator rod; “support rod” in the current English film is misleading.
  4. Disconnect the panel — 00:40–00:50. Release the pictured door-handle cable from its holder by pulling outward and lifting as shown, then unplug the panel connection. The source shows a cable/holder, not an instruction to remove an unspecified support bar.
  5. Remove the factory tweeter — 00:54–01:02. Hold the pictured corner of the triangular tweeter trim, pull it outward slightly and lift it free.
  6. Fit the supplied 3D assembly — 01:05–01:16. Release the original tweeter connector latch and unplug it. Position and clip the replacement assembly into the pictured mounting points. Confirm that the retaining features seat and do not obstruct rotation.
  7. Identify the lead groups — 01:19–01:33. The source identifies the speaker connection, a three-wire ambient-light connection and another connector labelled 12P. Its visible caption says “12P,” not “SAP.” This is the source's connector description, not a terminal-by-terminal electrical map.
  8. Mate the pictured adapter connections — 01:33–01:55. Connect the matching speaker plugs. The source labels the small mating connector 3P, not “3B.” It then shows the small lead from the blue connector mating to the matching 3P lead, and the white adapter connector mating to the blue connector from the tweeter assembly. Follow the exact supplied harness and its mating shapes; do not select terminals from color alone.
  9. Reconnect the first factory connection — around 02:00. The source caption calls this connector No. 6 as the blue connection is returned at the pictured door module. “No. 6” is a connector/location label in this demonstration; it is not an instruction to use electrical pin 6.
  10. Wrap and secure — 02:07–02:13. Wrap the connected harness as shown and secure the module at the pictured location behind the panel. Adhesive type, clearance and retention criteria are not specified.
  11. Restore panel connections — 02:17–02:33. Reconnect the matching panel plugs. At 02:19, the source caption says to reconnect connector No. 5, separately from the earlier No. 6 connection. The English script combines this area with No. 6 and omits the No. 5 instruction. Reconnect the speaker lead, refit the handle cable/holder and restore the panel as shown. Neither connector number is a pin assignment.
  12. Functional check — around 02:33–02:35. The source says to test the function after installation. It does not provide a full acceptance checklist or establish that all rotation, lighting and retained factory functions passed.

3. Result evidence

The Chinese article's separate result-video link is a generic WeChat path with no article identifier. No exact result film is established by that link. The installation footage shows the panel refitted; it does not replace the missing result-source identity or prove every lighting mode and rotational function.

4. Troubleshooting from the Chinese article

  1. Abnormal rotation. Check the rotation-circuit connectors and terminal mating, the seating of the rotating tweeter and the door retaining features. The source warns that a displaced retaining clip can interfere with the motor after installation. Compare operation with the assembly removed from its mounting, then swap the appropriate module or adapter lead to see whether the symptom follows it. The source does not supply a safe powered bench-test method or a complete connector map; obtain that guidance for the exact kit before performing such a test.
  2. Abnormal lighting. Check the light-source lead connections and terminal mating. If one side lights normally, swap the matching light-source leads and observe whether the symptom follows the lead. Do not infer terminal positions from appearance.

5. Review required before upload readiness

  • Resolve the written 2016–2023 versus pictured/film 2016–2022 year ranges and the film's 3D/4D progress-bar conflict for the exact vehicle and kit.
  • Correct the module overlay, the film's tool/component/connector wording, the No. 5 reconnection and remaining Chinese instructional text. Preserve the exact source film and original media order.
  • Obtain the exact module revision, connection map, terminal/polarity/fuse and power-isolation instructions, plus any configuration or coding requirements. The labels 3P/12P and No. 5/No. 6 do not provide that map.
  • Confirm panel/clip/cable seating, rotation clearance, screw torque, harness retention and the safe method for the source's removed-assembly diagnostic test.
  • Complete continuous playback, English listening, caption/action timing and technical functional acceptance. The local review used sampled paired still frames and full subtitle/script text, not full audiovisual acceptance.

Historical public QR and YouTube records are retained as historical facts. This candidate has not been published, and its page/mobile review and technical acceptance remain pending.
