This guide covers the continuous-rotation version identified in the archived W214 source. The source product image describes 2024–2025 E-Class W214 applicability, 64 colors, and inner/outer illumination. These are source descriptions; vehicle equipment, harness and module compatibility still require confirmation for the actual kit.

Product and kit identification

CKCP Mercedes-Benz E-Class W214 4D Rotating Tweeter Installation Guide (Continuous-Rotation Version) — image 1

Read the following source-based list alongside the image. Some English notes printed in the image need correction.

  1. 01 — 4D rotating tweeters: the illustrated left/right tweeter assemblies.
  2. 02 — Rotation drive modules: the original label states a continuous-rotation/silent-operation protocol and rotation drive module V1.41. The pictured identifier is LA_4DRHS01_SV1.6, with production code BEAJJH. These are label references, not verified software settings.
  3. 03 — Adapter harnesses: the source calls these rotating-tweeter harnesses. “Spinning tone harness” and “Cyclone Wiring Harness” in the current English image are inaccurate.
  4. 04 — Ambient-light modules: the original labels state ambient-light LIN control module (YC), CKCP V1.2 BEJIAE, for matching vehicles with factory ambient lighting. That wording is a source condition, not a confirmed coding or pinout instruction.

The rotation-module label lists 206/214/254/223/177/247/205/213/253. The ambient-light-module label lists 206/254/214/223. These lists identify the photographed labels; they do not extend this W214 tutorial to other vehicles. The English image's “206/219032/377/124” list is corrupted. Confirm the actual hardware version and equipment before using any connection shown below.

English video

The video linked above is the existing source-linked W214 video. The following navigation describes the demonstrated sequence and can help locate the relevant footage. It is conditional on matching the demonstrated vehicle equipment and supplied kit; it does not certify the electrical connections.

  1. 00:14–00:35 — Door-trim removal. The source identifies two T30 screws, then shows releasing the door trim and disconnecting its internal connectors. Screw torque, safe isolation and the complete trim-release method are not specified here.
  2. 00:38–00:52 — Tweeter cover and harness routing. Remove the factory tweeter cover as demonstrated, bring the replacement assembly and harness into position, and route the lead through the opening shown. Confirm the route on the actual trim rather than choosing a different opening from this description.
  3. 00:56–01:08 — Locate the mounting points. Align the replacement assembly with the demonstrated locating clips and seat it. The source's “three/four clips” wording is inconsistent; inspect the actual assembly before applying force.
  4. 01:08–01:32 — Adapter-harness connections. The demonstrator identifies blue/white and white/red connector pairs. Use this section to locate the shown adapter path. At approximately 01:22, the source caption says “factory 12”; the current English subtitle adds 12V, which the source caption does not establish. Connector color and this caption are insufficient to identify voltage or pins.
  5. 01:32–02:01 — Module connection and placement. A three-wire lead is described in the source caption as 5B; the demonstrator opens a module housing, mates the illustrated connections, closes it and indicates securing the module. “5B” requires confirmation and must not be treated as a verified connector standard. At approximately 01:51, “video line” in the English subtitle is unreliable; refer to the demonstrated lead without assuming a video-signal function.
  6. 02:01–02:25 — Speaker adapter connections. Locate the factory tweeter lead and the demonstrated male/female adapter ends, then review how the factory and replacement tweeter connections are mated in the video. Confirm connector identities and speaker configuration for the actual kit before connecting them.
  7. 02:25–02:28 — Remaining connector and harness wrapping. The source describes wrapping an unused connector and the harness. Whether that connector should remain unused depends on the verified equipment variant; this demonstration does not establish a general rule for other configurations.

Completion and troubleshooting information

The archived article's effect-demonstration and troubleshooting headings contain no written procedure. The sampled video sections cover assembly and connections. A final functional test, fault-code decision tree and programming values have not been verified from the available evidence. Obtain those instructions for the exact kit before treating installation as complete.

Review required

The English image needs correction of module/harness labels and the corrupted chassis list. The video subtitles and generated voice script need review for the unsupported “12V” addition, uncertain “5B”/lead terminology and timing: their repeated closing cues extend to 02:54.86 although the archived video duration is 02:28.40. The complete source/current video and audio have not been continuously reviewed. This guide remains pending technical and page validation.
