Confirm the exact kit, vehicle model year, roof module and ambient-light configuration before installation. The parts image is labelled for 2019–2025 A-Class W177; the written overview lists 2019–2024 and the seven model families in the title. These labels do not establish that the same parts or removal steps fit every listed vehicle.
The kit replaces the sunglasses compartment cover and adds two tweeters. Its lighting is intended to follow a matching 64-color ambient-light system. Factory and retrofitted ambient-light versions use different connections and setup requirements; confirm the supplied version before connecting it.

2. Installation illustrations
The illustrated installation includes drilling the removed roof module and removing A-pillar trim at an AIRBAG-marked cover. Have a qualified installer confirm the mounting points, vehicle-specific trim procedure and cable route before starting. This guide does not provide a complete procedure for working around the airbag area or verified drilling dimensions.
The following illustration shows opening the panoramic sunroof to access the roof-module retaining clips, releasing those clips with a small flathead screwdriver, removing the roof module and disconnecting its connectors. It then shows removing the original sunglasses compartment and its small gear, fitting the illuminated cover and securing it with screws at the illustrated mounting points.
The tweeter adapter cables connect to the original A-pillar tweeter wiring. The ambient-light adapter connects at the right-front footwell light. Confirm the matching connectors and routing for your vehicle before use. The reader below uses flathead screwdriver, sunglasses compartment and footwell-light adapter terminology from the source. The earlier English long illustration contains incorrect tool and compartment wording and missing labels; it is retained as a clearly marked historical link rather than the default illustration.

These unchanged source-photo panels follow the original long illustration from top to bottom. Their visible captions are translated below the photos. They describe this source demonstration and do not supply the missing vehicle-specific mounting, airbag-area or electrical procedure.
1. Pictured lighting appearance
The source shows two lighting appearances. The photos do not verify every color, lighting function or vehicle configuration.

4. Panoramic sunroof and roof-module clips
The source says to open the panoramic sunroof. Translation of visible source wording only; not vehicle-specific technical approval.
The source shows releasing the roof-module retaining clips with a small flathead screwdriver. Source demonstration only. Clip positions and removal technique need vehicle-specific confirmation.

8. Assembly overview
The source shows the removed module, cover assembly and cables together. No additional assembly order, cable route or connector identity is inferred from this photograph.
9. Illustrated screw mounting
The source shows drilling and screw fastening to secure the illuminated sunglasses compartment cover. Illustrated mounting positions only. Drill diameter/depth, spacing, protected clearance and tightening torque are not supplied; qualified technical confirmation remains required.
10. Tool at the AIRBAG-marked cover
The source shows a flathead screwdriver at the AIRBAG-marked cover. This translates the shown tool and source caption. It is not an approved airbag-area removal or routing procedure.
11. A-pillar tweeter connection
The source shows the tweeter adapter connected to the original A-pillar tweeter wiring. The source uses 无损, a no-damage claim; the photograph does not guarantee that result or confirm connector identity, pinout or signal quality.
12. A-pillar trim clips
The source says to seat the A-pillar trim clips properly. Circled source positions are illustrative; no clip count for every vehicle, force or airbag clearance is established.
13. Right-front footwell-light adapter
The source shows the ambient-light adapter connection at the right-front footwell light. The pictured connection does not establish a pinout or safe routing for every vehicle.

3. Troubleshooting and setup
- No sound from the tweeters: check that the adapter connectors are fully seated and that no plug has become disconnected. Check the wiring for an open or short circuit.
- The cover lighting is off: inspect the connection between the cover lighting and the right-front footwell-light adapter for a loose or disconnected plug.
- Choose the correct lighting version: distinguish between the kit for retrofitted ambient lighting and the kit for factory ambient lighting. Confirm the actual installed lighting system rather than relying on a trim-level label alone.
- Lighting setup: the retrofitted version uses the matching adapter connection. The factory-lighting version requires ambient-light addressing/initialization with a Mercedes-Benz diagnostic system, as described in the installation information. Have the installer confirm the procedure for the vehicle and supplied module.
