Vehicle and lighting configuration
This guide covers the replacement passenger-side illuminated trim shown for 2020–2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB247 vehicles. Use the appropriate module and harness for the vehicle's factory or aftermarket ambient-light system. The source describes installation without programming, but does not identify every compatible aftermarket controller or harness version.
Illustrated installation
The illustrations show removing the passenger-side trim panel, routing its lead to the right-front footwell light, aligning the mounting points, and removing the lower passenger-side trim for access. For factory ambient lighting, the source specifies a module adapter at the right-front footwell light. For the aftermarket system shown, it specifies a direct connection at that light. Confirm the connector arrangement for the actual lighting system.

Troubleshooting
- With factory ambient lighting, if the new trim does not illuminate, check that the module connector is fully seated and that no lead is loosely connected. Reconnect the module, lock the vehicle and allow it to enter sleep mode. The source does not specify a waiting time.
- With aftermarket ambient lighting, check the connector seating and wiring connections.
- If the colors do not match, select the basic red, green and blue colors individually. A missing color requires checking the relevant connection and light emitter; replace the emitter if it is confirmed faulty.
- Different aftermarket harnesses can use different wire colors. The table below reproduces the source's comparison for the harness shown. It is not a universal pinout or wire-color standard. Confirm the actual harness before connecting it.
| CKCP lead and function | Other harness shown |
|---|---|
| Yellow — positive | Yellow |
| Red — red light channel | Green |
| Green — green light channel | White |
| Blue — blue light channel | Red |
